PEFC CoC Certificate Renewed Print E-mail
PEFC - Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes - is Europe’s marking system for wood from sustainable forest management. Since 2003 WERTHOLZ Österreich Holzhandels GmbH has been PEFC CoC („Chain of Custody”) certified.

After the last audit in November 2009 performed by HolzCert Austria the certificate has been renewed for the next 5 years and is valid until the 31.12.2014.This guarantees customers of WERTHOLZ an uninterrupted supply with PEFC certified round wood and it attests to the consumers that by the purchase of such products, sustainable forest management is promoted.

Roundwood Takeover Print E-mail
 The video gives a short introduction of the roundwood takeover from the sorting line of WERTHOLZ in Fürnitz. The measurement is done by an electronic measurement system from Microtec.

The measurement is performed after the debarking machine. The qualification is performed by the responsible employee between the debarking machine and the electronic measurement system.
 
Building Forest Roads in Slovakia Print E-mail
Kindly supported by the Agricultural Paying Agency in Bratislava a project for building forest roads in the forest area of WH Danubius in Klástor pod Znievom, Slovakia, has been realized within the last few years. In total around 45 km of forest roads are going to be build and actual forest trails are going to be improved.
